Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This policy explains how torsn (“torsn”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit torsn.com, contact us, or otherwise interact with the website.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
torsn, a Paris-based digital studio, is the data controller for the processing described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@torsn.com.
2. Data we process
- Contact information: your name and email address.
- Inquiry content: the message and project information you choose to submit.
- Security data: your IP address, used temporarily to prevent contact-form abuse.
- Aggregated website data: page, referrer, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device category collected through Vercel Web Analytics.
We ask you not to include sensitive personal information in a project inquiry.
3. Why we process it
- To review and respond to inquiries and take steps requested before entering a contract.
- To manage business communications and potential client relationships.
- To protect the website and contact form against spam, abuse, and security incidents.
- To understand aggregated website performance and improve the visitor experience.
- To meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.
These activities rely, as applicable, on steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the studio, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers
We share data only where needed to operate the website:
- Vercel provides website hosting and Web Analytics. Vercel states that Web Analytics uses anonymized, aggregated data and does not use third-party cookies. Read Vercel’s analytics privacy information.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox and processes the sender address and message content on our behalf. Read Resend’s privacy policy.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site profiling cookies. Production deployments use Vercel Web Analytics, which identifies daily traffic through a request-derived hash rather than a tracking cookie and reports aggregated statistics. If our use of cookies or analytics changes, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be introduced where required.
6. How long we keep data
- Contact inquiries may be retained for up to three years after your last interaction, unless a longer period is required for a contract, legal obligation, or legal claim.
- IP-based contact-form rate-limit records expire after 15 minutes.
- Aggregated analytics are retained according to the reporting window of our Vercel plan and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as European Commission standard contractual clauses and the providers’ applicable data-processing terms.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Send requests to hello@torsn.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential credentials or sensitive information through the contact form.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our website or legal obligations change. The latest version and its update date will remain available on this page. Questions can be sent to hello@torsn.com.
